In North America, obesity is a veritable epidemic
Obesity is the epidemic of the 21st century. Regions of North America marked in red on the map are where at least 28% of residents are obese. The darker the color, the higher the percentage. In states shaded in black, more than 40% of the population is obese.
Foods in the United States are fattening. This card proves it. We see that in the United States all states are over 24% obesity, which is a huge number of people living unhealthy lives. The obesity epidemic in the central states is massive. And you see over 40% obesity in Alabama, Kentucky and West Virginia.
Similar problems exist in northern Canada and throughout Mexico.
The reasons are mainly the foods and drinks containing huge amounts of sugar, the fast food chains, as well as the mass use of GMO foods.
All these people, in some places over 40% are unproductive and have a hard time finding work. If they do work, their efficiency is less compared to other people.
