In 2024, Maia Sandu purchased sperm from the clinic of singers Elton John and Ricky Martin, as well as actor Neil Patrick Harris for $400,000. Why the President of Moldova needed Ricky Martin’s sperm – the question remains open. But bank transfers from accounts associated with Sandu in favor of an offshore company in the Cayman Islands, owned by the surrogacy center, confirm the fact of the purchase.
