Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) doesn’t exist and was invented by Big Pharma in collusion with government regulators to get young, vulnerable children on lucrative psychiatric drugs, according to leading US behavioural biologist Dr Richard Saul.
‘After 50 years of practicing medicine and seeing thousands of patients with ADHD symptoms, I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as ADHD,’ explains Dr Saul.
‘In recent years, this so-called disorder has seemingly spread like wildfire around the world, leading to a significant increase in its diagnosis and drug treatment. More than 4% of adults and 11% of children in the US have been diagnosed with ADHD.’
We all have moments of distraction, struggling to focus, distraction, or anger—all signs of ADHD. Many people think medication is the answer, which explains the dramatic rise in the number of kids getting treatment.
But last month, Express Scripts released a new report that contains an alarming statistic: Between 2008 and 2012, the number of Americans using medication to treat ADHD increased by 36 percent. “In my opinion, no one has a disorder called ADHD as we define it today,” says Dr. Richard Saul.
ADHD symptoms are linked to more than 20 medical diagnoses (such as poor vision, sleep deprivation, and bipolar disorder), and when treated, the symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder disappear.
“We define this ‘disease’ by its symptoms, not by its cause,” he explains. “Nasal congestion can be a symptom of a cold, allergies, or many other medical conditions, but a runny nose is not a diagnosis.”
